We believe that providing each grape variety with its own type of trellis system produces the highest quality, best tasting grapes.  Some varieties, such as Merlot, have a single row trellis system. Other varieties, such as Seyval blanc and Marechal foch, are given a divided canopy trellis.

Our staff provides the vines with proper shoot positioning and leaf pulling to ensure the grapes receive just the right amount of sunlight for ripening.  Grapes which are allowed to mature and ripen in the sun produce a higher quality, more flavorful wine after fermentation.
